Job Summary:
Senior HR Data Analyst supports the Human Resources function by collecting, analyzing, and visualizing HR data to enable evidence-based decision-making. This role focuses on HR metrics, reporting, and data insights related to HR operations. Senior HR Data Analyst works closely with CHRO and HR stakeholders to understand reporting needs, ensure data quality, and deliver dashboards and analyses using Microsoft tools such as Excel, Power BI, and SharePoint. The position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate insights clearly to both HR and non-HR stakeholders.
Job Responsibilities:
Collect, clean, validate, and maintain HR data from multiple sources (e.g., HRIS, payroll, learning systems) to ensure accuracy and consistency.
Develop and maintain HR dashboards and reports using Microsoft Power BI and Excel to track key HR metrics such as headcount, turnover, absenteeism, recruitment, and diversity indicators.
Analyze HR data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support HR decision-making.
Partner with HR stakeholders to understand reporting and analytics requirements and translate them into clear data outputs.
Support recurring and ad-hoc HR reporting needs, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
Document data definitions, metrics, and reporting logic to ensure transparency and consistency across HR reports.
Assist in improving HR data processes and reporting efficiency through automation and standardization where applicable.
Ensure data confidentiality, integrity, and compliance with internal policies and data protection regulations.
Support HR projects by providing data analysis and insights related to employee lifecycle activities.
Perform basic data modeling and trend analysis to support HR initiatives and programs.
Collaborate with IT or system owners to resolve data issues and improve data integration across HR systems.
Conduct data quality checks and reconcile discrepancies across different data sources.
Prepare clear summaries and visualizations to communicate findings to HR leadership and stakeholders.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of HR analytics best practices and reporting methodologies.
Provide guidance and basic training to HR users on standard reports and dashboards as needed.
